Do not comb or scrub while hair is wet. Curling irons, hot rollers and dryers should not be used frequently. Avoid massaging your scalp vigorously. Get rid of shampoos, conditioners and hair colours made with synthetic chemicals, which can damage hair in the long run. Smoking, stress junk food and lack of regular exercise can result in damage and loss of hair.

Adopt a healthy life style with a healthy balanced diet consisting of proteins, vitamins and all essential nutrients. Water is an integral part of your body; it should be replenished by drinking plenty of water. Ensure you sleep well. To avoid effect of chlorine on your hair, wear a cap while swimming. Trim your hair at short intervals. Use brush instead of plastic combs to comb your hair. Brush your hair gently and untangle your hair with fingers.
