Incorrect and unbalanced food is one among three basic cause of the disordered state of us humans according to Ayurveda. Positive life force known as Sattva also do have important role in the balanced state of our mind. If we eat more food with Sattva property and indulge less into taking Rajas (which makes us hyperactive) and Tamas (which makes us inert) food, we can get best health not only on physical plane but at mind and spirit level also.
