Medicinal uses:
Aloe Barbadensis is used in haemophilia, skin and uterine disorders, liver and spleen enlargement, eye infections, flatulence, intestinal colic, dysuria, cough and asthma, painful inflammations of the body, chronic ulcers and disorders of kapha and pitta.

Home remedies:
It is used in curing blood and skin disorders.  It is beneficial in chronic cases of rheumatoid arthritis.  Its pulp should be mixed in the flour preparation to make chapattis. In cough and cold, it should be used along with honey.
