uses:
Plantago Ovata Husk has urinogenesis, expectorant,
antipyretic, antidiarrhoeal, and antidysentric
properties. It is popularly used in diarrhea,
constipation, dysentery, fever, burning
sensation, cough, dysurea.
Home remedies:
It should be taken after roasting it with
Ghee and sugar in diarrhoea and dysentery.
In constipation it can be taken along with
water. Paste of its powder is used as face
pack which provides softness and lustre
to the skin. |
